Hi, my name is Claire, and I live in Stevenage, Hertfordshire with my husband, three children (aged 10, 13 and 15) and two crazy Cocker Spaniels.
I have a degree in Communication from Bournemouth University, which included units in PR, Journalism, Graphic Design, Marketing and the Theory of Communication.
I have worked for a wide variety of organisations in their Marketing, PR and Press teams including a major defence company, a local authority, a charity and an FE College. Until recently, I worked for a Clinical Research Organisation, supporting the Study Start Up team with a wide variety of administration tasks, including minute taking, data entry, running reports for clients and regular finance tasks to ensure our client billing was accurate and within budget.
My aim as a VA is to make your life easier! To free up your time from doing day to day admin tasks, so that you can focus on important work or even enjoy more time with your family and friends. Running a business is hard work and I can help to ease the pressure.
Why hire a Virtual Assistant?
Hiring a virtual assistant is a smart, cost-effective alternative to taking on a full or part time employee. As a freelance virtual assistant, I provide flexible support without the overheads – there are no recruitment fees, no National Insurance contributions, no pension contributions, and no tax responsibilities for you to manage. You only pay for the time you need, making it ideal for small businesses, startups, and entrepreneurs looking to reduce costs and boost productivity. With no long-term contracts, IT equipment or office space required, outsourcing to a professional virtual assistant helps streamline your operations while keeping your budget in check.
I can help with one off tasks or you may wish to hire me on a retainer for a set number of hours per week/month. Take a look at the list of services I offer, which you can find here.
I have completed a number of CPD accredited, professional Virtual Assistant courses
